Super Group has created super excitement at SHN SA by giving us three trucks on consignment!
On Friday 31 May 2013, Super Group is hosting a SHN SA meal packaging event at Melrose Arch to celebrate the official handover of these trucks and their employees will be packaging 32, 184 meals.
As part of Kiehl’s ongoing commitment to making a difference in every community in which it operates, Kiehl’s is proud to announce another step in its partnership with Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa.

This Freedom Day, spend some time in a township at Maphindi's, a well-known local Tshisanyama (township grillhouse). Not only will you get to enjoy the unique flavours of a proper township braai with local dishes such as pap, wild spinach and chakalaka (spicy tomato relish), but you will also be helping a great cause, Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa (SHN SA).
Your Maphindis Freedom Day Experience will consist of a morning meal packaging event where you will package 6 000 meals in a fun assembly line to be distributed by SHN SA to over 56 preschools in the Western Cape. Once you have worked up an appetite packaging meals, you will get to experience a traditional Tshisanyama lunch: a braai with lamb chops, boerewors and spicy chicken wings complemented with a buffet of traditional Xhosa dishes: pap, chakalaka (tomato relish) and wild spinach stew.
Samantha Henkeman, Co-Founder, and Kyle Jansen, Account Executive, of Moxy Communications joined Barry Mey, CEO of Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa, on a food distribution to Alexandra.
This is always an incredible experience for donors and volunteers alike. It is also very special for the Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa Field Officer taking the visitors on a distribution.
